It’s time to put your feet up

It’s time to put your feet up, hunker down and get cosy this weekend. We wanted to share these inky tone locations and a few cosy tips to create the ultimate Good Space for a rainy weekend:
- restrain your colour palette, don’t mix more than 4 colours in a room
- create friction & contrast
- buy more cushions and throws with different textures (you can’t have too many)
- contrast will create intrigue, so layer up
- oversizing adds instant WOW, so go big on lampshades
- aim for 3 focal points - it’s more intriguing and you’ll linger longer in the room!
- lighting - even, ambient glow, always warm white and scatter table lamps
- light candles or scatter my favourite pot pourri. Yes, pot pourri. It’s a classic iconic Italian beauty @santamarianovella1221
- and the game changer, is being brave and painting up and over to blur the lines and give you and everyone stepping into the room the biggest hug.
Thank you @abigailahern (the Queen of cosiness and dark tones) for sharing your inspiration, creativity and the intro to the life changing scents of Santa Maria Novella!
I promise you, you won’t want to leave home!
